Unit 1 & 3 - 10th October 2019

Practical work 1: We were given a sheet which was about our Identity performance. We had to answer these 3 questions: 1. What were the skills we identified that performers need? 2. What do you feel you have developed and say why you feel that you have? 3. What are your personal targets for the next project? For the first question I wrote: 1. Projection 2. Stay in role 3. Confidence 4. Clear voice 5. Good listening skills 6. Focus 7. Facial expressions 8. Teamwork 9. Taking your time For the second question: 1. I have developed my confidence with my classmates because I am able to give ideas for improvisation, class discussions and mix with them outside of class. 2. My voice because I have been able to speak louder and clearer. 3. I have been able to take my time when doing my verbatim, really thinking about how to perform my lines. Unit 1 - 9th October 2019

Final performance for Identity. Today was our Identity performance. I felt quite nervous but excited at the same time. I was nervous about the audience not liking it but excited to be able to finally show everyone what we have worked on. Our performance was amazing. In one scene, Hanna was told how pretty she was and how nice her jacket was but behind her back we pulled disgusted faces which made the audience react with “ooooh” and laughs. Another scene that the audience got involved with our performance was the dance. The audience cheered and clapped which made us feel confident and positive with our performance. There were some technical issues just before the dance. The lighting and sound students were having trouble getting the music started so we had to wait a while before we could continue. Whilst waiting we were all looking at each other nervously and not sure what to do but the music finally started, we were able to continue with the performance. Even though we waite...
