On Monday 24th February, we got into our Silent Movie groups and showed Shenagh our performances. Only myself, Hanna and Louis were in lesson so it was very challenging to do the scenes without Ashleigh as she is one of the main characters. We decided it would be good for Louis to play Ashleighs role. Shenagh told us whilst performing our scene to say one word that describes how we were feeling. We will not say them on the final performance but saying these words will help us express our facial expressions and body language. For example: In Scene 1 when playing the Ouija board, I said the word “scared”, I will move my hand quickly off the board to my chest to show the audience I do not want to play the game anymore. I will frown to show fear as I have not been in this situation before. After using the words, we did the performance without the words and showed them in our facial expressions.
