On Monday 9th December, we were given questions which will help us discover more about the characters we are playing in “Citizenship”. For my character, the Tarot readers daughter her name is Emma, she is 29 years old, she is from a working-class background. We were then given a character sheet, this included questions on physicality, voice and facial expressions: This was useful because I can build on my character, showing their personality and bringing them to life. I was also given a sheet which asked me questions about where my scene with Tom will be set: I then made a spider diagram on my character Emma, my thoughts on the other characters. This was fun to do because it helped me to understand the characters, which will improve my performance.
