On Monday 4 th May, I had a Zoom call with Shenagh and my class this morning. We read through the script of “Our Day Out”. We went over scenes 1 to 4. Due to COVID-19 and not being at college, rehearsing from home by computer or phone can cause problems. One of the difficulties that arose in today’s lesson was not being able to follow the script smoothly, people had to be told when it was their line. I found it frustrating because I have been practicing my lines every day and I concentrate during the lesson. Shenagh suggested to the class that they should get familiar with the script for next lesson so we can get through more scenes and bring the play to life. On Tuesday 5 th May, myself and the class rehearsed the script of “Our Day Out” with Chris, our TA this morning. Once again, I found it frustrating because the class was not focused, people still had to be told when it was their line.
